Today, I would like to show you how to make a flower from scraps of cloth. I participated in a workshop, which was provided by a fair trade shop called People Tree. In the workshop, I made the flower in the photo. In any home, there should be old clothes that you don’t wear or old curtains that you don’t use any more. Please don’t throw them away. You can “reincarnate” or UP-cycle them into lovely flowers!

You can use the flower in different ways, for instance, as a corsage, or as a hair accessory. You can also put it on a hat, a cap, or a bag as an accent. If you make a lot of flowers, you can use them as decorations for events. That’s a ‘beary’ nice idea, isn’t it? Depending on the combination of different scraps in patterns and colors, the flowers will create different tastes. Why don’t you try one?
