If you have corn husks in your community, don’t throw them away. These husks could be valuable resources.
First, collect the corn husks, and wash them. Then, dry them completely under the sun. It may take a week or so depending on the weather.
Next, tear the husks into small slender strips. Tear the curly tips off the strips, and glue the tips on to the top of a pine cone. As you work your way down, insert the longer and straighter strips between the layers of the pine cone. Add the husk petals on the pine cone until it looks like a beautiful flower.
