On Saturday, June 8, the 14th Japan Association for International Development (JASID) Spring Conference was held at Utsunomiya University, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. My mom, Yasuko Ose, is a member of JASID. At the conference, she made a presentation on “’OVOP’ as a Rural Poverty Reduction Approach in Africa,” based on her experience in having worked for the One Village One Product Promotion Project in Ethiopia. Her presentation material (Power Point) and summary are available in PDF below.
